Meet our KHS College Counselors

Our college counselors begin working intensely with students and families during the second semester of junior year. College counselors are assigned based upon student last name.

Each college counselor is now taking appointments for the class of 2012 and 2013, please feel free to contact them via e-mail or by phone. Family and individual appointments can be scheduled at any time during the school day. To request your transcripts please access your Naviance Family Connection account, if you have forgotten your password or user ID please contact your college counselor.

To access transcript release forms, counselor letter of recommendation forms, teacher letter of recommendation forms and any other college and career related forms, please look under the FORMS AND HANDOUTS page.

Colleges and Universities will be having open houses throughout this semester to help inofrm students and parents about the academic and social opportunites that are available for students on their individual campuses. Feel free to open this document to see if your school is coming to our area soon. Here is a list of the open houses that we are aware of in our St. Lous, MO area:

SCHOLARSHIPS:

While the individual schools to which you are applying will often offer various forms of merit-based aid, or scholarships, many outside organizations offer money as well. The College Counseling department maintains a list of these outside scholarships and publishes these lists via the scrolling announcements and reminders posted throughout the guidance hallway.
