     8 North students will be busy with a variety of topics in math.  The focus of  pre-algebra is to solve equations and know the basics of geometry for high school. Algebra 1 is the equivalent of Algebra 1 at the high school level.  We will investigate various functions their rules, equations and graphs.

What to expect:

• homework every night of class
• study notes in addition to homework
• a grade based on quiz and test results
• a chance to get additional help outside of class

     So whether you love math or hate it, I hope that you will enjoy our class and learn something about the patterns, puzzles and practice of mathematics.
