Fun Facts About Mrs. Woodard
* I teach third grade at North Glendale School. I’ve been here since 2004 and have taught both third and fourth grades. I think North Glendale is absolutely the best elementary school in the District!
* Previously, I began my teaching career with Special School District in St. Louis teaching EMR children in self-contained classrooms.
* I stayed home while my three sons, Adam, Nathan, and Luke, went through Kirkwood schools.
* When they were gone, I realized my heart was in the classroom teaching children and here I am!
* I got my BS in special education and elementary education from the University of Kansas and my Master’s Degree in teaching at Webster University.
* Hometown: McPherson, Kansas
* College pride: I’m a Kansas Jayhawk through and through!
* Favorite People in My Life: four grandchildren (Bennett, Ian, Wyatt, and Isabel)
* Favorite Pastimes: traveling the globe, beaches and islands, learning new stuff, researching any and every topic under the sun, reading and writing
