Summer Music Opportunities
It's hard to believe it's already time to start thinking about summer plans! I wanted to tell you about several summer music opportunities in the St. Louis area that your Keysor Kids are sure to enjoy!!!
1. Stages St. Louis
Stages St. Louis is offering several summer workshop opportunties for children this summer: "Jump and Jive in the Jungle", "Musical Kids", "Folktales, Fables & Fun", "Classic Kids Musicals", "Puppetry and Perfomance", "High School Musical Workshop" and "Broadway Through the Years".

2. Xylomania! Music Workshops
"Xylomania" is in it's eighth year serving young musicians. Co-directed by Bridget Munsterman and Tracy St. Clair, the five-day program provides young musicians an exciting opportunity to explore creative artistry through speech, poetry, song, games, movement, and the use of instruments. Xylomaniacs will receive an unforgettable music experience, a snack each day, and a T-Shirt.
For children entering Grades 1-5 in Fall 2008
Dates: Four sessions are available-June 16-20 OR June 23-27 (Monday-Friday)
Times: 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. OR 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

3. Summer Music Program at the Community Music School of Webster University: "Musical Adventures" engages the students with musical instruments, painting, and creative movement. Daily snacks are provided and a T-Shirt.

4. Music! Words! Opera! Festival Camp from the Opera Theatre of St. Louis: "Music! Words! Opera! Festival Camp for Kids 2008" is a camp where students will spend a week singing, dancing, writing words and music, playing instruments, and learning about costumes and make-up, lighting and set design--all the things that go into Opera Theatre's internationally acclaimed productions! They will tour backstage, work with Opera Theatre of St. Louis professionals and see an opera performance. Students will need to bring a sack lunch each day. One opera ticket and a T-Shirt are provided.
For children ages 9-13
