KEYSOR MUSIC DATES TO REMEMBER:
Thursday, October 7th:
5th grade learners will perform along with The Modern American Dance Company (MADCO) at 2:30 and 7:00 p.m. in the Keysor Gymnasium.
Monday, October 15th:
Recorder lessons begin for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade learners during regularly scheduled music classes. The music room has enough recorders to provide for every learner. However, these recorders may not be brought home for practice. If your child would like a recorder to practice at home, soprano recorders can be purchased at any music supply store. Yamaha and Aulos are reliable brands for use in the classroom.
Wednesday, November 5th:
The Kirkwood School District "Festival of Choirs" concert at 7:00 P.M. in the Keating Center Theatre at Kirkwood High School (for 5th Grade Honor Choir Singers).
Tuesday, December 9th:
1st and 2nd grade learners will perform in the annual Keysor Winter Concert. The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Keysor Gymnasium. We will present the same concert that afternoon at 2:30 for Keysor learners and staff.
FIELD TRIP! The 3rd Grade learners will attend the "Young Peoples Concert" at Powell Symphony Hall at 11:00 A.M. It is sponsored by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. A big thank-you to the Keysor PTO for sponsoring such a wonderful learning opportunity!
