January 5-9:
Mon-Tues - students received Industrialization Assessments back and reviewed for understanding. Opportunity exists to rewrite essay and turn in for higher score. Video to preview the upcoming unit on the Progressive Age was shown in class.
Wed-Thurs-Fri - Students will begin a short unit on progressive reform in the U.S. prior to WWI following the age of Industrialization.

The website of our textbook is a helpful resource for additional enrichment and assistance. I have not found the entire text of the book at this online source, but it has many other valuable learning tools. Check out the Prentice-Hall site.
Our textbook is the 2007 edition of "A History of Our Nation", for Missouri 8th graders. Click on the companion site option for many great additions to the curriculum.
