Where am I?
Health
Health
is that quality or state of being which enables an individual to live
most and serve best. Within the context of this definition, health
instruction is a vital and integral part of the total school curriculum
and is designed to help each child understand him/herself as a
physical, mental, and social being. It provides the opportunity for
students to develop attitudes and good health habits.
Each
person must make decisions about health every day, decisions affecting
self, family, and community. The concepts, attitudes and knowledge
needed for making these decisions intelligently can be acquired best in
an educational setting during the impressionable years of youth.
