Summer Registration, sponsored by the NKMS Parent Teacher Organization, is a great opportunity for you and your child to visit North! Students can have their picture taken for the yearbook, complete a self-guided tour of the building and decorate/organize lockers. Counselors are available during these times as well if you would like to make an appointment or stop by our offices in Room 55.

VTS Parent/Student Welcome at Carpenter Branch Library
Each year our Principal, Assistant Principal, Nurse and Counseling Team hold a Parent/Student Welcome at the Carpenter Branch Library on Grand Avenue in St. Louis City. At this event, we talk about the start of the school year, bus transportation and provide you with your child’s registration packet/schedule for the upcoming school year. We are available to answer questions you may have about your child’s middle school experience at North.
RESOURCE LIBRARY
There are a variety of videos and books in the Counseling Center that can be checked out by students and parents. Some of the topics include parenting a middle school student, helping your child navigate transitions, friendships and manage their emotions in a healthy way. Please feel free to stop by and take advantage of these resources!
