Ms. Maria Crutcher
Ms. Maria grew up in the St. Louis area. She attended Southeast Missouri State University and received an associates degree in Child Care and Guidance. She has 25 years of teaching experience with 4/5 and 2/3 year olds. Over the years she has served on the board of St. Louis Association for the Education of Young Children and has been a presenter at local conferences. Ms. Maria was married in 2004 and has two stepsons. She also has one dog, Jewels, that joined the family almost 2 years ago. During her free time she enjoys traveling with her husband.
Ms. Kendra Mueller
Kendra was born in St.Louis and grew up in Kirkwood. She went to Meramec and got her associates degree in Early Education. She has 13 years of experience in early education, and has worked with ages 1 to 5. She has been here at KECC since 2002. She began working full time here and soon went to part time after having her daughter Ava. She has been married to her husband for almost six years, and moved to Webster Groves when she got married. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves to hang out at the pool in summertime, and the outdoors.
Ms. Nichole Schlatter
Ms. Nichole was born in Missouri and grew up right here in Kirkwood! She is a graduate of Kirkwood High School, and then went on to Maryville University where she studied the ins and outs of the mind of the young child! She graduated in 2003 from Maryville with both a Bachlors degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. From there, she decided to have a little one of her own and so Jacob came into the world in 2004. Since then, he has been keeping her busy and active every day:0) In her free time (what is that??) Ms. Nichole likes to sleep, read, watch movies, camp, go to sporting events, ride her horses, play games and pretty much do anything that involves being outside! She also likes to travel, and got to visit Disney World last year for Spring Break! This year might be Universal Studios for Harry Potter- we'll see! She will keep you posted! Ms. Nichole is very excited to be joining the Elephant room team and is in her fourth year here at KECC, and has over five years previous experience working with two year olds! I love them:0)
