Sketchbook Assignments

You are required to draw outside of class in this course.

To improve your drawing skills you must practice regularly. Please submit your drawing sketchbook to the teacher each week, usually on Friday during class. You will earn a maximum of ten points per week for your work. You should always date your work and include a written assessment explaining your drawing problem and how you solved it.

During the first quarter, you should spend a minimum of 30 minutes a week drawing outside of class, especially if you want to see an improvement in your drawing skills!  During the second quarter, you should spend a minimum of 60 minutes a week drawing outside of class to reinforce your drawing skills and apply what we are learning in class to new situations.
