Where am I?
Graphic Design 1
Students will concentrate on graphic design skills, often using the
Macintosh Art Lab for projects. Students learn drawing, painting and
typography techniques completed by hand. If you are interested in
creating covers, logos, advertising lay-outs and package design this
course will teach you how! Learn how a commercial artist approaches
design concepts for clients.
On April 22, 2008, Mrs. Foster's Graphic Design classes exhibited their work at the Apple Store and will be a part of future advertisement for Apple! Projects include travel ads, paintings on the computer, CD cover designs, and animated movies.
Graphics Mac Lab is open for Art Students during Academic Homeroom Any art student who wishes to use the Macintosh computers during Academic Homeroom on Wednesdays are welcome with a signed red card pass from their Homeroom teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for students to use specialty software available only in the Graphics Mac Lab (room SA-5) such as Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, Storyboard, Flash, and GarageBand.
