About Mrs. Foster
Kim Foster has been teaching art since 1991 in the St. Louis area with Normandy School District, Ferguson-Florissant School District, and
currently in Kirkwood Schools. She was awarded the 2006 Missouri High
School Art Teacher of the Year Award from the Missouri Art Education
Association. Mrs. Foster has been featured in a number of articles
including the March 2006 St. Louis Post Dispatch’s “Spotlight on Education,” the “Area Top Fine Arts Teachers,” of the May 2007 issue of St. Louis Magazine, and also featured in People Profiles of the Missouri State Teacher Association’s School & Community Magazine Winter Issue 2008.
Mrs. Foster enjoys being outdoors, cooking, camping, and gardening. She is married to Jeff Foster, and they have two dogs, Eddie and Molly. Mrs. Foster was born and raised in Northern Indiana and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from William Woods University in Fulton, MO and her Masters in Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Mrs. Foster is a juried member in watercolor with the Best of Missouri Hands.
