Where am I?
Honors Chemistry
Chemistry is the study of matter, energy and the interactions between the two. When a match is lit, what is going on at the molecular level? Where is that energy coming from? What factors influence that reaction? These are the kinds of questions that are at the heart of chemistry.
Also integral to chemisty is the scientific method. What exactly is scientific research all about? What does it accomplish? What constitutes a well designed experiment? What does it take to establish "proof" of a scientific principle? These issues will also be addressed.
