Kirkwood School District Foundation
Where am I?
Many, many thanks for your support of our recent Meet Us @ The Magic House event. The total raised from this event is over $72,000.00 that will go to support the Kirkwood School District students and staff. This year the Foundation will be giving grants to eight schools in the amount of $3,200.00. This is more than a two fold increase over what was awarded in 2011!
The Kirkwood School District Foundation is a 501(c)3 that provides funding for educational programs and major projects that cannot be met through traditional funding sources. The Foundation board is governed by a 20+ member board of directors and has a teacher and board of education representative. Since forming in 1989, the Foundation has given over $3.5 million to the Kirkwood School District.
