Buckner, Pruitt, Owens Named All-Metro

Three Pioneers were named to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro Football Team. Senior running back DeAndre Buckner, junior defensive end Mycole Pruitt, and junior defensive back Malcolm Owens each received Honorable Mention honors.

Kelly Earns All-Metro Honors

Last week, senior diver Chris Kelly was named to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro Swim Team. Kelly finished fourth in the state diving competition with 472.90 points. He placed second in state as a junior, third as a sophomore, and fourth as a freshman. Kelly earned All-Metro honors last season as a junior.

Pioneers Win Four Against Webster Groves

The Pioneers went 4-2 against the Webster Groves Statesmen in basketball action last Friday night. Hundreds of fans packed both Varsity and Denver Miller Gyms to witness six rivalry contests between the two schools.

Kirkwood vs. Webster Rivalry Renewed on Hardwood

On Friday, December 19th, the Kirkwood Pioneers will renew their rivalry with the Webster Groves Statesmen on the basketball hardwood. Kirkwood High School will host six Kirkwood vs. Webster basketball games, including boys and girls freshman, junior varsity, and varsity contests in both the Varsity and Denver Miller Gymnasiums.

Schlotz, Bearden Named to All-Tournament Team

Seniors Britton Schlotz and Mark Bearden were named to the Webster Classic All-Tournament Team last weekend. Kirkwood went 2-1 in the tournament, and earned third place.
