| KIRKWOOD HIGH SCHOOL KHS Freshman Day August 18, 2008 Staff/Instructional Development Days Students in Grades 1-12 and the Kirkwood Early Childhood Special Education Program are dismissed early on five days during the school year. Sept. 19, 2008; Oct. 16, 2008; Dec. 12, 2008; Jan. 16, 2009; May 1, 2009 Kindergarten - Half-day and full-day kindergarten classes do not follow the staff/instructional development day schedule. On these days, morning kindergarten classes begin and dismiss at their regular times and afternoon kindergarten classes begin and dismiss at their regular times. Full day kindergarten students attend school and follow their regular schedules. | ||
